Alterego is great fun, down to earth bar situated along Whiteladies road which is geared towards a largely student audience. It's in a Brilliant location, near by all the other trendy bars Whiteladies has to offer, and has a great atmosphere that you notice as soon as you walk in the door.

Every Monday night Alterego have a 'heads or tails' evening where you order a round of drinks and then flip a coin, and if you guess the outcome then you get another of the same round for free! What a brilliant incentive to order drinks!

The layout is quirky with an upstairs balcony-type area with seating, and there's more seating around the bar downstairs. The poker will take place in the upstairs area where table service will be offered whenever possible so you don't even have to leave your seat.

Alterego joined the League in June 2011 and games are played on Tuesday nights starting at 7.30pm. The venue does not offer food and people are allowed to bring in things like Subways or Pizzas from local shops.
