He started playing poker in August 2008 and first got interested in the game after watching poker shows online. Andreas quickly became hooked on watching poker but didnt fully understand the game and rules so spent time learning the game and having a few weekly tourneys at rileys pool/snooker club before discovering the Bristol Poker League.

After 3 or 4 months of playing in BPL Andreas became good friends with Dave, Mitch, Ryan and Zach and entered the fabled Academy group...

His fave hands would have to be AA's KK's and AK... and any small pair such as 3's or 5's to flop a set and crack a big Ace.

He has played in two £110 Gala festival tourneys and about 5 Gala Saturday night freezouts reaching 29th (out of 150 players) for my 1st £110 tourney and a record of 19th, 13th, 13th, 9th, and 3rd at the Gala saturday night game.

He continues to keep learning and improving his game and along with fellow Academy members look forward to playing more bigger events with the ultimate target being the WSOP sometime in the near future!
