Dave has been playing poker for about 18 months. He first started playing with a small group of friends that became regular players in The Bristol Poker League, including Zach, Ryan and Mitch.

The small group became the fabled "Academy" of poker, which has seen a couple of members get added over the months, but remains a fairly exclusive bunch of young poker players all learning, and beating the game of poker.

Daves favourite hand is 9-10 suited, preferably spades.

He is one of only 5 players to win the monthly BPL title more than once. His first title being when he won the June 2008 title in The White Hart.

The second win was when he took the December final down in The George and Dragon in January 2009.

Dave was also the league winner of Big M's in January 2008.

He lists his biggest achievement as winning back to back Saturday night tournaments recently in the Bristol Gala casino when both games contained 120 players! His biggest cash win so far live is £370, in one of those games.

UPDATE JUNE 2009 -

Dave became the first person to win the Monthly final an amazing THREE times when he took it down at The Red Lion on June 21st 2009. He picked up £500 and another trophy for his win.
