Well presented and historic main road pub between St George and the Kingswood / Hanham fork. Inside, there is live entertainment at weekends and four screens on which to watch the football, cricket and any other live sport.

The menu hosts a lot of home made dishes and there is a good variety of vegetarian meals available. Theme nights throughout the year. The car park is to the rear. Recently (2008) refurbished and now has a very sheltered heated outside area for smoking and eating al fresco.

The original starting point of the Bristol Poker League there are TWO live Texas Holdem poker games on Mondays with the first one starting at 7pm and TWO games on Thursdays with the first one starting at 7pm.
