The Red Lion Staple Hill.

The Red Lion in Staple Hill have joined the League. They will be running games on Sunday afternoons from April 4th at 4.30pm.

This pub is the new pub taken over by Brian and Sue who have had poker in The Railway, The Live and Let Live and The Bull.

We are aware that this pub is very close to the King Billy and we wouldn't normally allow another venue to run games this close to an existing venue, but as Brian and Sue have been supporting the league wherever they have gone for a very long time, AND as the numbers in the Billy are drastically lower than what they were when 4 or 5 tables of players used to turn up 6 months ago, we are hoping having another poker playing pub in the same area will provide a shot in the arm to the Billy as well.
