Martin began playing poker just over a year and half ago in Big M's in Kingswood, then moved on to play and now run games in both The Fire Engine and The Cartwheel. Martin was a partof The Big M's Team that entered the team games the BPL ran.

He lists his biggest achievment since playing as a tie between winning The Fire Engine in December 2008 and finishing 2nd at the Big M's final.
