September 27th News The result from the August final 65 players started this months final in The Fire Engine. The final table featured these lucky 8 players. Darren Darren got knocked out by Magic when they both put their chips in on a board with two Kings on it. Magic had K-7, Darren had King-Jack. A 7 on the turn proved to be fatal for Darren and he unluckily went out in 8th place. Mark Mark pushed all in with Ace-3 and Magic once again proved too strong for another player on the final table when he turned over Jacks which held up. Will I dont have a picture of Will at the final table, or details how we went out in 6th! Sorry Will Hutch Another final table for Hutch. This time he finished in 5th when he pushed in with 6-7 against Mitchs pocket 5's which then hit another 5 just to rub it in. Mitch Mitch was out next when his A-Q tangled with Rob's A-K... Magic Although Magic hadn't played in the league this month, he showed he had not lost his touch by eventually finishing 3rd. No details of how. My writing is too blurry to read on the sheet of paper I have here.... Rob - aka "Short Stack" The second Iron Bridge regular was Rob. He arrived with a big chip lead and easily coasted through to the deeper positions. He eventually finished runners up to.... Chris - aka "P Da Man" Chris made short work of a smaller chip stack at the start of heads up for his first monthly final triumph.
