About The Bristol Poker League
The Bristol Poker League is a pub-based tournament league built around one simple idea:
Make live poker accessible, competitive, and fun — without charging players to enter.
We run structured Texas Hold'em tournaments across Bristol and the surrounding area. Each event is professionally organised and played to clear tournament rules. Our league system rewards both performance and consistency.
The Points System
Every tournament awards league points based on two things: how many players entered and your finishing position. The winner gets the most; points then step down through the standings. Even the first player out earns points, so participation and consistency both count.
Seasons & Finals
The league runs in two-month cycles. Each venue crowns a Pub Champion (trophy with their name on it), and top performers qualify for the Grand Final, where the top eight are paid cash prizes.
