The pub is from the 18th century but in the 17th century it was a farm house, coming to the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century the pub was a brew house where beers were sold out of one of the buildings windows. Then around 1830 the Ring O' Bells was born and is still to this day a well loved pub in the west end of Nailsea!
